I was honoured to have been invited to participate in Printing Marks and Codes/Printing Design International Invitation Exhibition at the Printmaking Department at the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute. The exhibition opened on November 14th and will run until the end of the month. I have many fond memories of Chongqing and my time there in 2011. The city is large, bright, and busy and sits at the intersection of two major rivers: the Yangzee and the Jialing.

I am very pleased to have had my work selected as part of the Atlanta Printmakers Studio Print Biennial. The exhibition opens this Friday, November 6th, at Kai Lin Art in Atlanta. 69 printmakers were selected by juror and etching/mezzotint star Art Werger to form the exhibition. Thrilled to be in such fantastic company.

I’m currently the featured artist for the store at The Print Center in Philadelphia. They’re gearing up for their centennial celebrations. Check out my work and then check out all the good work they do too.
Dream City, Dreams
I recently returned from a trip overseas to Belgrade, Serbia, where I had a solo exhibition of my prints titled Dream City, Dreams at Prodajna Galerija “Beograd”. I had a fantastic experience thanks to the gallery and all the excellent artists I met during my time there. Prior to my opening, I was interviewed for a radio program and a television program. I was thrilled to have the Canadian ambassador to Serbia open my exhibition. Here are some shots from the exhibition. Thank-you to Aleksandar Mladenovic Leka for writing an excellent catalogue essay (follow the link to one of his amazing projects).
New Work (etchings)
New Work (experiments with UV printing on plexiglass)
In late May, I stopped by UBC Kelowna to work on some plexiglass prints using their UV inks and drying system to test adherence and layering. I was pleased with the results and will now plan a series of larger works on plexiglass. Many thanks to Briar Craig for letting me use the studio. Shoot him a line if you want to propose a short residency in the lovely Okanagan valley.
