In the late fall, Calgary artist Jolie Bird and I collaborated on a postcard for Carte Blanche at DNA Artspace in London, Ontario. This is the result (cut pattern by Jolie, watercolour by me). The postcard has already been sold but you can enjoy a digital version below.

2014 Southern Printmaking Biennale
I am pleased to have one of my recent etchings included in the 2014 Southern Printmaking Biennale, juried by Ericka Walker (an amazing Canadian lithographer based on the East Coast). The show runs from November 10 to December 12th at the Bob Owens Gallery at the University of North Georgia.

In just one week I’ll be showing and selling my work at Handmade Here in Calgary. Printed In Canada/Taiwan
About a year ago, I was invited by Guy Langevin to participate in a print exhibition that would take place in Taiwan. 25 Canadian artists were to exhibit our works in Taiwan and 25 Taiwanese artists were to exhibit their work here (well, in Quebec). Guy invited three artists from the exhibition (myself, Deborah Chapman, and Mylene Gervais) and a representative from Trois Rivieres (Marie-Eve Berube) to accompany him to the opening in August. It was a whirlwind three days in Taiwan and we were welcomed by the generous and extremely friendly Taiwanese artists. The exhibition would serve as a way for artists in each country to show their works and to build relationships between artists and institutions beyond the exhibition. A catalogue of all of the works in both exhibitions is available.
- We were welcomed warmly wherever we went! This is at a printmaking studio.
- Signatures of all the artists in the exhibition on the wall leading into the show. The background image is my print.

- Guy Langevin, the Canadian curator, discussing his works in front of the crowd (pictured with a translator, daughter of Rock Shen, curator of the Taiwanese exhibition)
- Deborah Chapman, a wonderful mezzotint artist from Montreal.

Work Available at The Print Center
I’m honoured to have my work available for sale at The Print Center in Philadelphia. If you are a fan of print and are in Philadelphia, you should definitely drop by and check out their current exhibitions and gallery shop. But if you are far away and are still interested in purchasing one of my prints, head on over to their website to pick one up (and peruse the many other wonderful works on the site).
New Etching
I’m currently en route to Asia where I’ll be attending the opening of Printed in Canada – an exhibition curated by Guy Langevin and featuring the works of 25 Canadian printmakers. Prior to heading off on my trip, I completed a new etching as part of my new series The Body Stranger. More to come about Taiwan after the opening! (sorry the colour is a bit off in the photo)
Fargo
This past winter, the television show Fargo was filmed in Calgary and I was approached to print some props. This was mostly a lot of unsexy boxes and folders but it was still pretty interesting to be part of the behind the scenes production. I did all my printing on the weekends so I never ran across any actors but it was cool to check out some of the sets and other props. Thank-you to Joel Tobman for this opportunity (he also designed the stencils – I just printed them)! Below are some photos of the printing in progress as well as a screen shot of a box in use.

Case files! I had to cut a special template out of foam core so that I could print these. The back has a clip that couldn’t be removed.
