The portfolio that I organized after my trip to China for the Qijiang Printmaking Festival is currently being exhibited at the EPCOR CENTRE for the Performing Arts here in Calgary. They have a series of window galleries that feature small project works. Its been great to reconnect with some of the international artists that I met on this trip through this exhibition. If you hit up a play at the Centre in the next few months, be sure to take a look.
I recently shipped my work to the Really Big Print Show at the Cheltenham Centre for the Arts. One of my large silkscreens will be getting all up in the business of some other giant prints and battling it out for print supremacy. Or probably just hanging out with other prints being all awesome. Opens September 15th!

I was invited by Herman Noordermeer to participate in this year’s Global Print in Alijo Portugal. The show opens on August 31st and runs until October 30th.
My work was accepted into Shy Rabbit’s 4th Print International exhibition in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. The juror was Michael Kruger and the exhibition includes fellow Canadian Briar Craig amongst the exhibiting artists. The show opens on July 28th and runs until September 7th.
Lots of exhibitions on the go this summer! My work is still at Red Delicious Press for the Water on Paper exhibition. I am participating in the 12th Lessedra World Art Print Annual in Bulgaria and the 33rd Miniprint of Cadaques in Spain both for the second time. They are large miniprint exhibitions that take place each year. I am also showing work for the first time in New York and have a piece in the Manhattan Graphics Center’s 3rd Annual Printmaking Juried Show. The juror is Roberta Waddell, Curator of Prints Emerita, New York Public Library. Go go prints to places that I’ve never been! (and bring back cake or some sort of local treat).
Currently my work is on display in Aurora, Colorado at Red Delicious Press in their juried exhibition Water on Paper. I was selected as one of seven artists exploring themes of water in their work. My two newest silkscreens are there along with work by Steve Dininno, Susan Hambleton, James Hubbard, Julia Rymer, Pamela Schenfeld, and Marcus Thibodeau.
I have some tiny works that I will be exhibiting in the 9th Biennial Miniature Print Competition at the Centre for Contemporary Printmaking in Norwalk, Connecticut. They are the smallest prints I’ve ever made – tiny silkscreens that are smaller than 4″ square. The exhibition runs from June 2nd through September 1st.

The works for my exhibition The Imagined Past have been in the works for several years now so it feels strange to finally have them set up and working in the gallery. I can’t quite believe they are finally doing what they’re supposed to as I’ve spent the past few days patching code and fixing lose connections (on top of tinkering with them for the past few years, making them work more effectively). Will my amateur electronics/code/construction techniques hold up? Join me on Friday February 22nd at 8:00pm at Stride Gallery or on Saturday February 23rd at 2:00pm for my artist talk to find out! The show is up until March 22nd. Stride is located at 1004 MacLeod Trail SE in Calgary.
Marc Dulude is showing works in the upstairs gallery in his exhibition Have You Seen This? Its a great show by an excellent Quebec artist whose practice concerns itself with sublime spatial experiences using mirrors, the viewer and nature. His artist talk is the same day as mine at 1:00pm.
